After 11 weeks of remote leaning all students have finally resumed on-site schooling. It was delightful to welcome everyone back to school, many of them sporting happy and excited smiles, looking forward to catching up with friends and teachers. A special whole school video conference was undertaken as an official welcome, which of course was a history making first of its kind for Amsleigh Park. It was a great pleasure to extend both our congratulations and thanks to students and staff for what we achieved and learnt during remote learning at home. It was quite remarkable to think of the way that teachers ‘transformed’ learning into an online format in such a short time, and how students adapted to this so well. In saying that, we are quite happy if it does not happen again, at least not in this way.
