We are very proud to announce that Amsleigh Park was recently awarded the best primary school project between $5-10 Million for 2019 at this year’s Victorian School Building Authority awards. The award was presented by the Minister for Education, Mr James Merlino, who acknowledged the very high standard of projects from all across Victoria competing for VSBA awards. Our school modernisation project commenced in 2017 and was completed at the end of 2018. The success of our project was made possible through a very effective partnership between the Amsleigh Park PS school community, Architects, Baldasso Cortese and the Builder, Newton Manor. The outcomes for our students and staff are outstanding, and we now have a contemporary learning environment that will encourage and support learning for all of our students for many years to come. I want to acknowledge the outstanding work from both our, Architect Baldasso Cortese, who translated our educational vision into an inspired design, and Builders, Newton Manor and Vallack Construction, who then made this design a reality. After two very challenging years we can now see and enjoy the benefits of this project in our fantastic school, that is also now an award winner!
