Amsleigh Park Primary School Grade 2 students in action! This week the Grade 1s and 2s have been learning about place value and increasing their familiarity with a larger group of numbers. Here is a picture of 2A working on an open ended Mathematics task which required students to find and cut out numbers, and order them from smallest to largest. Some students worked comfortably with numbers they knew, but it was also great to see some students take the challenge to work with larger and more difficult numbers.
